The town of Whiteland was incorporated on May 3, 1886 but the town was growing before this date, it all started in 1853. When the town was first formed there were only three businesses and now there are many more. There were only 40 lots of land back then and now there are 1,600, and it’s all because of the commitment of the towns amazing citizens. Neighbors are friendly and the majority of the population is involved in the community and take pride in their homes and land.
