February can feel like a weird “in-between” month. The new year motivation is starting to level out, winter feels long, and the real estate market is just beginning to wake up.

Enter The Homies, our annual awards show.

Why “The Homies”?

If the name sounds familiar, that’s intentional. We took inspiration from everyone’s favorite workplace comedy, The Office, and their iconic awards show, The Dundees. The Dundees were awkward, had a few eye-rolls, and definitely played for laughs - but by the end of the night, something important always happened. People felt seen. Appreciated. Recognized.

That part stuck with us.

We chose The Homies name intentionally. It aligns with our Real Fun Real Estate philosophy and reflects what FPG is all about - celebrating our people. Our homies. The ones whose impact, values and wins shape who we are.

Why We Believe in Celebrating Wins

Real estate is demanding. It’s fast, emotional, competitive, and often thankless. Wins can be quiet. Growth can go unnoticed. And when that happens, burnout isn’t far behind.

At FPG, we believe recognition fuels momentum. When people feel appreciated, they stay engaged. When wins are celebrated, confidence grows. When effort is acknowledged, especially by peers, it reinforces the kind of culture we want to protect and grow.

February is our moment to step back and say: look how far we’ve come and look who made it happen.

What The Homies Represent

The Homies recognize agents for more than just numbers. They highlight how our agents show up - not only in their business, but for each other and the community.

Aside from recognizing our top performers, we present a few awards that are peer-nominated, which makes them extra special. Being recognized by leadership is meaningful. Being recognized by the people you work alongside every day? That hits differently.

This award recognizes an agent who improves their business through creative thinking and smart risk-taking, setting an example that inspires fellow agents and elevates the way we do business.

FPG Giver Backer

This honor celebrates an individual who consistently goes above and beyond to serve their community and leads with compassion, generosity, and heart.

#FPGLife Award

This award goes to the agent who truly embodies FPG - showing up with enthusiasm, bleeding neon green, and proudly spreading our culture and brand wherever they go.

D.A. Henderson Award

The D.A. Henderson Award is our highest honor, named in recognition of an inspirational, decisive, and visionary leader, shaping the culture and standards we strive to uphold. This award celebrates the individual who best exemplifies the core values of FPG through leadership, integrity, loyalty, community involvement, and excellence in both relationships and performance.

The Homies are just one example of how we intentionally build culture at FPG.
